Licensed Pilot?

If you already have a Pilot Certificate with a Heavier than Air rating (e.g. Airplane), your prior flight experience will allow you to add a glider rating in a few days for as little as $2,500 . In this case, The FAA waives the requirements for taking the Glider Knowledge Test and for holding a current Medical Certificate (however, you should "self-certify" yourself as healthy).

*This is an estimate for an average pilot, that flies regularly, and knows aviation rules and regs.

Important: (this will only includes 1 attempt to your FAA checkride. If you fail it, additional training and retesting fees will need to be applied)

*Fees for FAA checkride $400.00 not included*
